Welcome to the STK-SuperTournament!

The next supertournament is played in March but the qualification round already starts at 2021-02-24. Playing the qualification rounds is necessary for the team formation and therefore required for playing in tournament (either as normal participant or as substitute). If you dont play the qualification round you can only participate if some players are needed to fill up the teams.

In order to participate, type /join on the server "STK Supertournament".

In order to edit your time poll (see below "6. Time poll"), just run /ican [time] on the server "STK Supertournament". The time has to be given in a certain format. For example mo16 means Monday 16 UTC, 17 means 17 UTC on all days, weekdays18 means 18 UTC on weekdays, weekends means on weekends on any time, we means on Wednesdays at any time, all means at any time. With the command /icant [time] you can remove times you already chose with /ican [time]. If you have specific days on which you can't play, tell organizers, e.g. via Discord.

To create fair teams, a qualification is played which starts at February 24th. The qualification consists of two qualification rounds. In the first round all participants play 1 vs 1 matches in Swiss System Style against each other. There are 6 possible qualification times with a duration of 1 hour each in which 3 rounds of Swiss System are played. Each player has to play on 2 of these times and is told before on which times he should or can play depending on the time poll. If you miss a qualification day you will get a yellow card. Please tell us as 24 hours before if you cannot play because we have to know how many players will come. The 1 vs 1 qualification round is mandatory to play in tournament either as participant or as substitute.

Each player who played at two 1 vs 1 qualification times is allowed to play in the multiplayer qualification round (see above). The results of the multiplayer qualification round are responsable for the team formation. So it is mandatory to play the round to participate (not for subsituting).

This tournament is played with substitutes. If your timetable changes and you know you cannot come to a match, please tell it 24 hours before the match starts so the match can be rescheduled. If not all participants are there a yellow card will be shown to missing players if not told 24 hours before. The preferred way is then to replace the missing players with substitutes with a similar rank (see section 7.2 for definition) in the 1vs1 ranking or multiplayer ranking.

It is allowed to play with alternative accounts (alts) in the tournament in case they are not playing with the same kart. Note that an alt also has to play the qualification matches. Note that in the multiplayer qualification round it might be required that two alts have to play at the same time. So it is easier to use alts as substitute. If the number of players is not dividable by 3 it is still possible that the alts get a team depending on their 1 vs 1 ranking, even if they haven't played the multiplayer qualification..

Each match includes five games, all played with 7 minutes time limit. The first game is played on Icy Soccer Field, the second one on an addon chosen by the first team, the third one on Soccer Field, Las Dunas or Tournament Field (voted by all playing players), the fourth one is played on an addon chosen by the second team and the fifth on SuperTournament Field. Each addon can only be chosen once in the whole tournament, so in total 42 addons are played. There are 27 "normal addons" and 15 texture mods to choose.
